Functional HTML5 & CSS3 is a great introduction to what's new and improved in the world of HTML/CSS. The video tutorial has the high production values we've come to expect from Envy Labs, and Jason VanLue provides a clear explanation of the diffs in the new versions of HTML/CSS. Both the video and course exercises ooze with code samples to demonstrate the concepts explained in action.

I didn't have any HTML5 or CSS3 experience, and very little HTML or CSS experience at all. This course really helped me to fit the pieces together. It's amazing how much you can really learn by doing!

Thank you guys so much for putting in so much love and effort, not only to give inspiration and best-practices, but also to provide excellent examples, great resources and that little nudge to really try it on the next project. Specially, I liked the combination of theory and first-hand experience on the demo beer web page. The video quality was outstanding and the challenges were appropriate - even building up on each other nicely. Also, I want to mention, that I want to encourage you to keep the attitude of responsible, user-focused web design and development, as you did very well in one of the beginning chapters, as those lessons go further and deeper than a technology or tool could ever go. Thanks for the pleasure...looking forward to the next courses!
