Hi, snychka. Thanks for your reply!
I didn´t question the importance and usability of returning funcions in real applications. In fact, I passed that challenge easly, but i still don´t understand why or when should I use returning functions.
In my opinion (just my opinion!) the simpler context does not help us to undestand the aplicability of the concept. In a broader context, where the returning functions are really useful, where all the purpose of coding that way are displayed in a clear manner, the learning experience may be much richer. I really apreciated the two first parts of Road Trip, where real life examples was given. If a more complex example is considered too much complex to be given, this topic should be presented later. Don´t you agree? (maybe after talk about closures, mentioned in the 1.10 video)
For now, i´ll return to books to really understand that concepts (their purpose, to be more specific), and, them, returning to the videos at codeschool with another perspective.
Best wishes, and let´s code!
