    @Nikhil I didn't get to that in this video, but the final code in the repo has this saveNote method that shows one way to post back to the web service: https://github.com/codeschool/NoteApp/blob/master/03-final_working_version/NoteApp/NoteApp/NotesTableViewController.swift#L75-L105

    does the express endpoint in the server saves the notes in the database, or store them to a temporary array that is cleared after server restart?

    @kmav with this simple example there is no database integration - all of the API stuff is just temporary in-memory, and as soon as you shut it down all of the data disappears. If you check out some of our Node/Express courses and upcoming MongoDB course and screencasts you should be able to add some database functionality to this example!
