Even though I had two labs at university explaining ASP.NET MVC, I certainly didn't feel confident using EF, mostly using copy&paste approach when I had to. Additionally I was never quite sure how to use layouts. After taking this course I can finally say I understand how to use EF and how to configure application to use dependency injection and properly validate any entered data. I also finally can actually make use of different layouts and partial views. As the course progressed, it clearly explained every topic it tackled and left me feeling well prepared to use what I learned in my own applications. I would recommend to watch "Build a .NET MVC App" before (or after) taking this course since some elements from both .NET Path courses are used there in practice.
